Richard J. Collins Scholar/Athlete Award
The Richard Collins Scholar/Athletic Award is a huge honor at Wilson Middle School. Mr. Richard Collins taught English and coached football and track at Wilson. Wilson has many students who meet the requirements for this award. The following boys were nominated: Diego Gomez, Rachid Gountandi, Akshat Gupta, Brandon McCracken, Asvanth Paranidharan, Klaen Paquin, Ishank Punjabi, Braden Thatcher, Aubree Threatt, and Hunter Warren.
The following girls were nominated: Amy Anderson, Simra Babu, Alyson Benson, Siri Chintala, Abby Comp, Olivia Gratton, Chelsea Highly, Paide Melton, Eryn Robertson, Jazzy Smith, and Samantha Veto.
