Programs at the Moline Public Library

The Moline Public Library needs you to join the Teen Advisory Group! Make new friends, give advice about programs and materials for teens, and earn service credits. Meetings are on the first Thursday of the month at 3:30 p.m. in the Platinum Room. No registration required.

Visit the Moline Public Library on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month from 2:30 to 4:00 in the second floor program room for Tween/Teen Gaming. Enjoy a variety of video games, board games, and computer games. Drop in anytime. No registration required.

Are you a writer (or would like to be) who’s looking for inspiration, motivation, and constructive feedback? Moline Library’s Write Now! Is the place for you. Join us on Monday, October 29th at 6:00 p.m. Visit the library during November to work on your NaNoWriMo projects every Monday and Thursday from 5:00 to 7:30.

The Moline Public Library is looking for volunteers to join a Knit and Crochet Circle. Join us every Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:00 to make blanket squares which will be made into complete blankets to donate to Project Linus. The program is open to teens and adults of all levels of experience. No registration required. Supplies are provided but limited. Participants can bring their own supplies.

Interested in playing Pathfinder or Dungeons and Dragons? Whether you’re an experienced campaigner or wondering how to get started, we’re there for you. Join us on Tuesdays at 4:00 in the 2nd-floor program room at the Moline Public Library to play. Registration is requested.

The Moline Public Library’s Tween STEAM club will start offering programs and events for students in grades 4 through 8 in January. Join us for a LEGO Space Challenge, cooking classes, visits from Niabi Zoo, dissection classes, and more. Visit the library or check out our website at www.molinelibrary.com for more information. These programs are offered as part of the Project Next Generation grant. Programs were developed pursuant to a Library Services and Technology Act grant administered by the Illinois State Library using funds provided by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services.
