Wilson Boys Track

The season all started in Geneseo. With this extremely competitive match up between the two rivals each side had very versatile runners. Though Geneseo came out on top, Wilson had multiple relay teams win events and also a few individuals. After a season of long training hours, the Wilson Wildcats defeated the cross town rivals at the Heartland conference meet. Due to their amazing performances at the conference meet, runners from both grades got the honor of running in sectionals. One of the teams that were state hopeful was the 8th Grade Boys 4x400 meter relay. Unfortunately they came up short missing state by only a few seconds. After a season full of ups and downs Wilson still had runners representing our great organization at the Illinois state meet. These runners fought to get where they are and practiced for long hours after school everyday. The runners that will be representing us are: Kadence Tatum,Jazmine Cunningham,Nathalia Rivera, Jalysa, Sammi Veto, Jazzy Smith.
