On Tuesday, February 7th the 8th graders met with their high school counselors to input their classes into the system, so that they can take the classes they want in high school. This is a very long process. 8th graders have to read through an almost 50 page manual of all of the classes they can take. It’s difficult because some classes are bolded, some are not. Some classes are only offered to them, some not offered to them, but still end up in the booklet. Then you fill them out on a four-year plan. After this long thing, it only gets longer, you have to meet with the counselor and have a Q&A session. FINALLY, you get to meet with your high school counselors to input them into the system. NOW we wait until high school… Where the real fun begins.
