On Tuesday, May 16th the Wilson 8 Gold students prepared for a day of fun and excitement. First we headed to the Ice Rink for an attempt at skating. It was the first time for many, (including me) and falls were common. For the students who opted out of the falling and eventual blisters, played soccer and human foosball. After that it was of to the River Bandit’s stadium for a day of baseball. Students sat on the grass to watch the game. But if they were like me, they spent the time hanging out with friends, riding rides, and eating junk food from the concession stands. Rascal, the Bandits mascot, even made an appearance! All in all, the day was very fun. Whatever energy we had that morning was gone completely by the time we returned.
